Transportation & Parking: - Shuttle Service: Available from South Hills Mall Parking lot & Wappingers Junior High from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM. - Return Service: Runs from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM from the parade. - Note: There will be no street parking along the parade route; please use side roads only if you plan to park in the town and not use the shuttle service.

Dr. Dennis Murray served Marist University as President for nearly 40 years and now serves as President Emeritus and Professor of Public Policy. When he stepped down from the Marist presidency in 2021 he was one of the longest serving and most accomplished leaders in American higher education. He led Marist through a period of exceptional growth, overseeing its transformation from a small local institution to one with an international reputation for excellence. Today Marist's students come from 46 states and territories and 54 countries.
Dr. Murray's ancestors come form County Cork and County Mayo and settled in Southern California where he was born and raised. He received a bachelors degree in political science from California State University, Long Beach and a masters degree and PH.D in public administration from the University of Southern California's School of international and Public Affairs.
He and his wife Marilyn have been married for 54 years and she played an active role in helping build Marist. They have two children Marian and Michael and five grandchildren: Declan, Charlotte, Connal, Benjamin and Teagan.
