The Dutchess County St. Patrick's Parade Committee is saddened by the loss of one of our long time supporters and participant of our parade.  Sheriff Adrian "Butch" Anderson passed away.  He has led the parade for 22 years as the Sheriff of Dutchess County.

For our 25th Annual parade Butch not only led our parade he was the personal driver for our guest His Emminence Cardinal Dolan.

Butch was not only an outstanding officer of the law but he was a gentleman. He will be sorely missed by us and all of Dutchess County.  Butch served 50 plus years as a peace officer and 22 years as our county Sheriff.  A remarkable legacy, rest in peace Sheriff.

Parade step off time is 1 pm sharp.
Marchers should Line up by 12 Noon.
Pedestrians can use Pells Place Street
for access to all Divisions.

Escort - Assembles at the Rural Cemetary
First Division -  Line Up on North Street
Second and Third Divisions - McCafferty Place
Fourth Division and "Latecomers" - Clinton St.

Large Floats (tractor trailer and flatbeds) are to line up on Clinton Street. Smaller floats to line up with their divisions. Overflow will be on Nelson Ave. Click on Parade Line Up for further.

Please take note that all Marching Bands must be paid for and any transportation provided comes at a cost to the Committee. We are exempt from Federal Income Tax under Section 501c3 of the IRS code and therefore all contributions to the Parade Committee are tax deductible under Section 170 of the tax code. We are actively seeking Corporate Sponsors at this time so that we can continue to grow.

The St. Patrick’s Parade Committee was formed in the fall of 1995 by several members of the community and the Kevin Barry Irish Club. They gathered together to discuss having a St. Patrick’s Parade for Dutchess County residents. From this inspired group, a committee was formed and the fund raising began. Yes, it does cost money to run a Parade. To help the parade to continue to grow please take an ad in our journal.
